It was not just the khlong which added to the peaceful environment but there was a 'meditation area'.
The khlong was a beautiful place and I was happy that there was no plastic floating around. I now take a cup for my street coffee instead of using a plastic mug.
Even when a boat went past I did not think it was noisy (it was).
Then there were more places to make merit - we always take some coins in with us.
There were the traditional roadside shrines at which you could make merit.
