The Khao Chi Chan Buddha is a Buddha image carved onto a rock and we stopped here on the way to our drive to Pattaya for a weekend.
It was created for His Majesty the King of Thailand's Golden Jubilee. The creation is 109 metres tall and 70 metres wide and the etching is filled with gold leaf.
Certainly worth stopping if you are nearby - but I can imagine that it might be difficult to get a good photo if it is busy. Here's a TripAdvisor review.
