Loy Krathong 2021 (November)

 

I set off in the early evening from the Soi to Wat Sri Boonrueng.

 

All along the Soi to the temple and the khlong they 

were selling krathongs.

And then there were more...

 

I purchased my kratong and walked to the khlong.

It was a lovely walk along the khlong 

- I remembered getting the river taxi to work each day. 

I continued to walk - it was quite lovely.

Wat Taphong Nok (Rayong)

I had business in Rayong and found somewhere special to visit - Wat Taphong Nok.

I could find very little about this Buddhist construction anywhere - I think it must be linked to another Wat nearby.

The Buddhist Structure was in the middle of the road.

The selection at Sukiya -  Japanese restaurant close to our home is something we always want.

We have been here a great number of times.

And will continue to go.

Chong Heng Cafe (Ramkhamhaeng 76 - Visit 10)

Chong Heng Cafe is not far from where we live so I come here at least once a week.

Very good coffee and comfortable outdoor seating.

There are also other options for street coffee on the same Ramkhamhaeng 76.

Wat Suvarnabhumi Buddhajayanti (Somewhere to go) (BKK) Part Two

After exploring the main building it was time to investigate inside

and the smaller buildings around the main part of the Wat.

It was a wonderful place to explore again with respect.

I imagine that the Wat can be quite busy at times - But it was not when I was there.
