Ban Xang Hai in Laos is somewhere we came across as we were travelling along the Mekhong river looking for Sang Hai Temple.
On writing this I found that the market that we visited was also referred to as the 'Whisky Market'.
We did not see any whisky but we did see lots of animals in bottles and I have no idea what they were for?
An interesting place to visit.
