Unicorn Cafe (BKK) Visit 1

Unicorn Cafe is a very interesting Cafe - if what you are looking for is a cuddly Unicorn Theme...

There's not much more to add to describe the place - the photographs can do that for me - but the coffee and ice-cream weren't special.

We walked around the corner and found that there were two of them so I imagine that they are very popular?

Here they are on Facebook, Lonely Planet and TripAdvisor.

Sammakorn Weekend Market (Visit 2) - coffee

Ruenros (BKK) Visit 1

We have been to a number of places for dinner and Ruenros was in a very scenic location.

And what a beautiful spot it is as well - it does improve the taste of the food as well...

The food was very good and it was certainly worth going to.

I would certainly recommend visiting here if you are in this area.

Romsai Coffee

Romsai Coffee was somewhere that I visited when I had come down the hill at the Golden Mountain.

Very nice coffee - quite strong as well.

There was no Google Maps but it is along this road here below.

Little Winter ice-cream (@Sammakorn) (BKK) Visit 1

Little Winter Ice-Cream is somewhere we visited to simply indulge ourselves. There is no traditional Thai food here - very Western and if you have a child they will love the food that they serve here.

Of course if you want healthy food

than I do not think that coming here is an option...

Not sure what the Japanese style plastic tree is for though...

then the collection of pillows

oh and you must remove your shoes when you enter.

Robot Building (Somewhere to go) (BKK) Visit 1

Each week we post a link to an article in Bangkok 101 and today the article is about
Dr Sumet Jumsai na Ayudhya สุเมธ ชุมสาย ณ อยุธยา  and his creation of Bangkok’s most captivatingly peculiar buildings - https://www.bangkok101.com/bard-bizarre-architecture/- original text by Jim Algie.

Here are just two of some of the buildings he was involved with

-      The Robot Building (1986) - https://goo.gl/maps/gHp3ktk1miy - a building shaped like a robot, simple, now the HQ of the United Overseas Bank
-      The Elephant Tower (1997) - https://goo.gl/maps/aSFc9Ts41Qr - explanation not necessary

If you want to read more bizarre Thailand stories by Jim Algie read 'Bizarre Thailand' - here’s a map of some of the locations in the book - https://goo.gl/maps/f8unFaW4Td82.

ภูเขาทองการช่าง was a great place for some noodles.

Delicious, great value and convenient if you were visiting the Golden Mountain Temple.
