Travelling to Samut Prakan

 

The road trip to anywhere in Thailand is interesting and today the road was not busy.

But we were soon joined by other cars.

There were a number of Wats adjacent to our raised road.

And there were a greater number of newer buildings!

But I like seeing them interspersed with temples.

Going for a coffee in the morning whilst there is a lockdown means that I take a book with me every time.

This book - Michael Connelly / Angel's Flight is very good 

and makes a good compliment to the Iced Coffee.

I saw a snake on the way home - how do I find out what type of snake this is? Have you tried this App - SnakeSnap!

But so as not to become too addicted I take some home now for my beautiful and very special wife Chuen.

The cappuccinos were very good and quickly made

and we had it with a delicious slice of chocolate cake!

Voodoo Cafe (BKK) Visit ?

Voodoo Cafe in Bangkok is somewhere we came across because we were nearby and intrigued by the name.

Then there was their Facebook page.

So we made a visit.

It was not full of 'voodoo things' as we expected.

It was more of an American Sport's Cafe.

But the ice-cream was great

and so was the coffee.
