Cambodia - Srah Srang

Srah Srang (also known as The Royal Bath) and is a beautiful place to visit when we visited Cambodia.

It is a reservoir from around the 12th Century and is a place to stop

- opposite here are more temples to visit - which were quite busy.

Well worth stopping.

Cambodia - Day One.
Cambodia - Day Two.

Pink Cafe (@SammakornWeekendMarket) (BKK) Visit 1 - now closed 2022

We visit the Pink Cafe when we also visit the Sammakorn Weekend Market

- which we visit regularly - here's my review.

A very nice spot for a coffee.

Only opened on the weekend - 7:30 to 15:00.

เฮ้า ข้าวต้มปลา (BKK) Visit 1

this is somewhere we visited because it was close to us.

We wanted something quick, simple and cheap. We both had traditional soups with rice and it was okay.

No more elephant rides

Don't ride elephants has been supported by Amazing Thailand BUT I wonder if all those companies in Phuket are still operating and what they are being told. It is the responsibility of the tourist not to choose this.

Bangkok Walks - Bang Lampu ++

Photographs of Phuket Planes

So the Airports Authority of Thailand have made it illegal to take photos of the airplanes landing at Phuket Airport from the beach?

So this will no longer be allowed?

Pet Public (Somewhere to go) (BKK) Visit 1

Pet Public, next to Paseo Town is a place I have been to a number of times with my daughter - an opportunity to play with lots of different animals.

There are too many different animals for me to recall.

But the coffee is nice for me...

Khao Ta-Kiab Beach

Khao Ta-Kiab is a wonderful place to visit and we have visited more than once.

Remember to get up early to see the monks walking along the beach.

And the sun begins to rise.

The fishermen leave early.

It is a popular place for people to have dinner - until very late, late enough for it not to be cleaned up before the next day.

My daughter enjoys riding the horses.

And in the distance there is a Wat จุดชมวิวเขาตะเกียบ to visit.

Forest in the City (Somewhere to go) (BKK) Visit 1

PTT Forest in the City is somewhere which is sponsored by a
Thai petroleum company - PTT.

"The PTT as being involved in environmentalist projects such as the PTT Green in the City initiative, a development venture that aims to provide cleaner and purer urban surroundings." - full review by Russ Downing and Hot Magazine.

I felt like was a school teacher all over again...

Then it might have been worth visiting - but I wasn't.

Was a great walk around though...

And of course there was a great view from up the top.

Found some interesting things.

This was not somewhere which I felt was inspiring to visit BUT if I had only a small amount of experience of green areas and I lived in the city maybe I would have been more inspired?

Here is their Facebook site and TripAdvisor.
