747 Cafe (BKK)

747 Cafe reminded me of the Airplane Graveyard just down the road from our home.

There were no motors on these.

Inside was not the same as the standard aeroplane.

The service inside was very good.

We would go again if we were nearby.

Measures for entering Phuket (25 June 2021)

Well this means that we can't go to Phuket from Bangkok soon.

        

すき家 / Sukiya (@SammakornPlace) (BKK) Visit ?

すき家 is a Japanese Restaurant called Sukiya and is at  Sammakorn Place - we have been here a number of times.

The food is always tasty.

So we keep going back.

Super coffee - unfortunately it closes in the afternoon because as I am writing this I would like to have an iced coffee...

Very good - always strong and full of flavour.

Never noticed the decoration until today - 

'Mother's Day'.

Temple Trip in a Day (Laos)

We visited three Wats in one Day whilst we were in Laos.

1) Wat Chompet Santi

The first thing to be aware of is to take the short not trip across the river. 

Then the 123 steps that you must take to get there - but it is worth it!

2) Wat Long Khounaaram OR Wat Long Khoun

• Also known as the ‘Monastery of the Happy’, Wat Long Khoun features 18th-century Lao architecture, with 2 single level sections: the front part features gilded columns and intricate wood carvings.

And a lovely temple at the very top.

3) Wat Tham Sakkalin

Wat Tham Sakkalin is somewhere we came across and were unable to find the limestone cave to explore.

Then there were the steps up the hill to somewhere which I thought was closed to us but there was an entrance somewhere?
