We took some time out for a trip of the river and Wats in Laos. Amongst other Wats we visited we visited Wat Chomphet Santi but on writing this I read on Google that it is permanently closed since we visited?
The temple was at the top of a long stretch of stairs.
At the top was the Wat where offerings could be made.
There were also Chedi built at the top.
Inside the temples the windows gave a good view.
Certainly worth making the effort.
