A drive from Bangkok to Ayutthaya

We decided to go for a drive to see Ayutthaya 

- the roads were not busy.

This is what we could see from the car - but many times I did not know where we were - even using google.

What was going on in this truck!?

A gateway to somewhere special?

This entrance had an elephant protecting it. 

I think that this was the entrance to Wat Chang Pakkran.

Over a number of bridges.

Saw some of older Ayutthaya.

An impressive pilgrimage place.

A large wat in the distance.

The side of the building has fallen off.

And the airplane graveyard near home.

We have been to Ayutthaya previously and here are some Wats in Ayutthaya.
