Then inside one of the Temples was a very big golden Buddha - not what I had expected to see.
We put gold leaf on the Buddha to make merit and give thanks for my continued progress in getting better (March 2022).
It was really quite special and I felt lucky to be alive and living in Thailand with my beautiful wife and daughter.
