Wat Phutthaisawan (Somewhere to go) (Ayutthaya) (Visit 2)

Wat Phutthaisawan (Ayutthaya) is somewhere we visited on a day trip to Ayutthaya.

Wat Putthaisawan is located to the west of the island city of Ayutthaya In 1353, King U-Thong1 established this monastery on the Chao Phraya Riverside. (Wat Putthaisawan Facebook).

The white chedi was somewhere I had to look more closely at. It was well guarded!!

We walked up the stairs.

To find this inside.

We came down and found something newer - a golden Buddha room - with a monk in as well.

And the monk gave me a gift.

Outside there was the traditional bell to ring or stroke.

Then as we continued to walk there was a lot more older and traditional chedi.

Wow - I felt very special - thank you.
