Going on a Walk (Ramkhamhaeng 76) - Walk 3

The man selling coconuts was not there but I understand that you can purchase them using the

 QR code?

Chong Heng Cafe was open.

So was Tanyapat & Anyawee.

I was surprised by the amount of bicycles this morning!

The lady at the top of the Soi was making her coffee.

Rabika coffee was open.

Building of the MRT was continuing 

(November 2021).

Not sure what is happening in the khlong?

Do you like Durian?

Food Panda were making a delivery.

Merry Christmas from Paseo.

Shops closed because of COVID.

A cup of tea perhaps?

Would you wear these shoes?

And then a short walk home.

    

Wat Tham Sakkalin

Wat Tham Sakkalin was a temple which we visited whilst we were in Laos. Then I found more about it when I read a guide to the temple on Lonely Planet.

I was totally taken with the peace and quiet of the Wat.

There was some management of the temple.

But most of it seemed not to be - but this added to the feeling.

There was more to be found if you wandered the area.

I wonder where this would take us?

Inside the temple was also worth visiting - remembering to leave an offering.

    

Chong Heng Cha Café - lasagne - Visit 12 (closed)

Time for an iced coffee.

I had put the lasagne together.

Boiling some potatoes for a pie.

And I needed the coffee.

The Salad Factory - Visit 4

We like to go here.

But we do usually have the same - the mushroom soup is delicious!

Then a salad.

Then the cheese toasties are a favourite.

There is a very big choice and it is not expensive!

My wife is beautiful - even when wearing a mask - I am the luckiest man in the world.

Looks like Grab are making deliveries and the restaurant was deserted.

Wat Sapphaya Samoson Nikon Kasem

Wat Sapphaya Samoson Nikon Kasem is a 

splendid example of a Wat.

But I could find very little on the Internet about it - here's a website including a map with it.

There is a school linked to the Wat and there is a khlong adjacent to it where you can feed the fish.

   

Nid Coffee Shop - Visit 12

There are 3 places on our Soi where I can get my daily (or twice daily) iced Coffee or cappuccino.
