.. Phuket bus terminals one and two in Phuket City

.. Provincial Hall

.. The Public Transport offices in Saphan Hin

.. Patong Hospital

.. Chalong Police Station

.. Karon Police Station

.. Loma Park football field in Patong

.. Phuket City Police Station

.. Rajabhat University

I hope this happens...

Kathu Street Festival 2015 ( July 30, 31 + Aug 1)

Kathu Street Festival is the place to go during the next two days   

- Friday 31st of July and 1st August. The main road is closed through Kathu - from one end to the Kathu Shrine at the other side. 

I love to visit Kathu Shrine on the last day of the Vegetarian Festival!

However the reason to go here is the abundance of Thai Street Foods which I am able to fill my stomach with! BUT no Chiang Mai sausages this year?

Anyway - I ate the Sea Grass / Bua Tod

Then there was the Deep Fried Sea Cicada

Not sure what the egg is...

Deep Fried Quails and Quail's eggs

Pieces of an animal...

Salted fish 

How many types of sausage can you make?

Macroons

and so much more food than I have here...

Elvis turned up...

 are these parts of animals?

a good excuse for a dance?

or dress up and have a ride in a taxi tricycle?

and of course there are some Siamese Fighting Fish?

A Spa for your Bag...

I was hunting for a coffee shop in Phuket Town whilst my wife was having her hair done and came across a Bag Spa - now I did not know that these were actually what the title was - a Spa for your Bag.

No I cannot believe it! So guess the reaction in an English Lesson at work when I was told how wrong I was!!!

Then told that how good they were...
You do not wait from them to do it - no 'while you wait' you will have to book it!

So I chose to look for the nearest coffee shop...

The nearest one was Livingstone's Coffee shop...

 So I chose to follow the map on foursquare - 

using Apple Maps or Google Maps, I chose Google Maps...

Yes it worked...

I have found that it does mean you need to read a map though - I did get lost...

Phuket Raceweek 2015

We had a lot of fun...

Registration day - boats arrive and there was a party (the chicken kebabs were the best)

Day One - boats are ready and off they go (and there was another party - thanks Peroni)

Phuket Raceweek 2014 

Panwa House (Phuket) Visit ?

This is a Sino-Portuguese mansion (of which there are quite a few in Phuket Town) but what this restaurant has is it's location. Panwa House is but a few metres from the rolling sound of the waves - beautiful.

The Traditional Thai food was as good as the building was special - a real must is the chicken baked in Pandanus Leaves...

My friend Olivier swears by the Beef Massaman.

All that we had was good - we will visit again - I do work there.

I found some photographs of Panwa House during the lighter hours - before we had dinner.

Street Food - Fried Curly potatoes

These funny looking things are really potatoes put into a screw and unwound.

Delicious.

Until I found that they are sprinkled with MSG 
- they were really delicious.

I had these at the market at Sapan Hin.
