September - You know you have lived in Thailand when...

The traffic jam on the road does not matter
- the pavement is empty...

After moving to Bangkok I have become aware of things which are now normal to me because I live here – and subsequently a facebook site about this “You Know You've Lived In Thailand when.....” – https://www.facebook.com/groups/YouKnowYouveLivedinThailandwhen/
so once a month I will contribute to this.

A trip to Australia

I needed to leave Thailand because my work changed - so I went to Australia to visit the family.

Lunch at the Valley Kitchen.

We visited when a number of bikers visited with their decorated bikes.

Always time to see the Hornbills

and of course the wrapped trees...

Then onto Wisteria Cottages - a wonderful place to escape.

Jemma fed the cows and collected some eggs - whilst we had hot chocolate at 'Heavenly Chocolate'.

Then there was a visit to the Giraween National Park.

Dr Roberts Waterhole,

the granite arch, the trails

and some Kangaroos of course.

Returning to Wisteria Cottages there was 'Snow' to play with.

Then we visited Wallangara Railway Station

where there the two sizes of railway track DO NOT meet.

10 ways to fall asleep on a plane

The easiest way I found to go to sleep was to travel in the same month so there were no new films to watch...

Coffee Beans by Dao (@CentralWorld)

We just had to go again. This time we had lunch and it was wonderful - I do not know what more I can add to my previous reviews...

The starter with the salad in the coconut cream was wonderful.

Then came the deep fried fish - another wonderful creation.

Then the pièce de résistance - the cakes.

And the coffee was a wonderful accompaniment.

Thank you again for another fabulous lunch.
