I am always taken with the decoration around the name of the Wat.
Wat Bumpen Nua is across the Khlong from Wat Bang Peng Tai. I may have confused some pictures.
Here's the bridge between them both.
The decoration over the other side is more traditional.
With a standing golden Buddha.
But when I found the name plaque of the temple there was also some modern decoration.
This visit was in March 2022.
