Wat Bang Toei (Bangkok)

We came to Wat Bang Toei because I wanted to go to a new Wat and Wat Bang Toei is a monastery.

The temple did not seem to be close - even when we got to the sign on the side of the road that we were going in the right direction.

The first thing I noticed was that there were a number of places of rest for people.  

But the Wat was protected.

The Wat was impressive - even when you have seen as many as I have.

You could enter the temple on the 'snake steps' and leave your car protected in the 'Buddha' car park.
