Find my iPhone - a short film

So this is something that I would not like to happen to me. But this is a short film which indicates what happens when a phone is stolen. Maybe it is not real - who knows?

but interesting...

Aeroplane garbage tip...

There are a lot I read about aereoplane travel - but what do you think?

Instagram can tell us where to go next

Instagram can tell you where you want to go next so Krabi and Railay Beach looks good.

Then Wat Huay Pla Kung gave me a better location - looking at Instagram again as an App.

Then there was this one - Koh Tao Island.

Or it shares with others where you have been.

Comics and Coffee - a different mix

Saturday in Bangkok (at work) and I chose to visit the Comic Convention at Siam Paragon and then seek out a new coffee shop - Blue Dye Coffee on Sukumvit 36.

It was entertaining trying to work out the Sky Train (coming later) but I purchased a Rabbit Card.

My first stop was the comic convention - which was on the top floor and I did feel as if I was the oldest person there (which was probably right).

Not many people dressed up as their hero.

Did you collect 'Superhero Cards?' - well they were doing some serious swapping outside... The queue was too long so I chose to get back on the Sky Train to the coffee show.

What a beautiful building! But they were not ready yet - certainly a very photogenic place but no coffee so no review yet - coming here.

So saw a sweet potato looking delicious.

Then found a restaurant...

Sign your credit card before shopping

With the new technology many people are not actually singing their Credit Cards any longer - which I understand BUT if you come to Thailand there are some places which will not accept your card unless you have signed it...

A proposal - 5 years later

Brian came to me to help set up something special for him to ask his then girlfriend Ashleigh to marry him. So I did and she did.

Then 5 years later I receive the loveliest note on Instagram from Brian.

It is lovely to be part of things that were special to them...

Thank you.

Happy Easter

Today was a special day for us.

It was an excuse to eat as much chocolate as we could find.

I hid a few eggs cards in the garden and when it was time off they went to find them.

Every find was chocolate eggs and jelly babies - unless I had eaten them first!

Happy Easter.

A lost passport needs an ETD

So keep all your documents safe.

Get an ETD application form before you leave?
Make a photocopy of all those documents?

DO NOT give your passport as a deposit for anything...

Enjoy your holiday in Thailand

Seven Suns - an energy tea lounge

This looks like a place to visit - even if it is only once.

Have you visited?

What time and what Thai Food?

Apparently you can tell the time of day and what people will be eating.

Not that I have ever noticed!

The Emerald Cave in Koh Mook, Trang

We have visited a Blue pool in Krabi
but there is an actual cave - Koh Mook has anyone been here?

Stand up for the National Anthem

This also happens in the cinema and everyone is expected to stand up - usually before the main feature.

Respect In Thailand is important

Sometimes it is easy to forget how special Thailand is. Here is an area of land near to where I work. I wish that I could remember what it was - a 'club' perhaps.

Anyway the land has been cleared for development.

But the shrine in the corner has not been touched, everywhere there are
reminders of this...
