I need coffee

I go to a lot of coffee shops in Bangkok -  here's a map for coffee and restaurants.

Sri Nakhon Khuean Khan Park and Botanical Garden (Samut Prakan)

Sri Nakhon Khuean Khan Park and Botanical Garden in Samut Prakan reminded me of a park in England but I cannot remember the name.

We rented bicycles and cycled around the park - it was a lovely day and a lovely experience together.

There were a number of places where Buddhist offerings could be made.

And special places.

Which directed us to the coffee shop.

What a wonderful place - very peaceful.

Memories

This photo that I was given recently brought back memories of working at Heathfield International School.

มหาเทวลัย พระพิฆเนศปางค์มหาราชา ที่แรกในโลก (Samut Prakan)

มหาเทวลัย พระพิฆเนศปางค์มหาราชา ที่แรกในโลก in Samut Prakan is a Hindu Temple and is also called Maha Dewalai Hindu Temple.

The attraction here is the wonderful elephant statute.

There are always people making offerings.

And these offerings are moved to the side - certainly worth making an effort to visit here.

Temporary Closure of 31 venues in Bangkok

I wonder whether I was going to visit one of these places?

The sun in Bangkok on April 26

I will go out and have a look....

Wear a helmet on a motorbike

This does make a lot of sense...

Chef's Gallery (BKK) Visit 1.

The Chef's Gallery is a restaurant that we have been to a number of times.

We usually have a selection of Western dishes - here we had a pizza.

And then some Thai dishes - all were worth getting.

OR just have a beer around the lake?

OR wait until later for a romantic glass of wine around the lake?

Here's their Facebook. But I do want to know why they decided to put this up.
