Phuket - Big Buddha - Visit?

I remember seeing Big Buddha from where 

I used to work at

Cape Panwa Hotel and

Kantary Bay in Phuket. 

You could still ride elephants at the bottom 

of the hill.

There are a lot of steps to actually reach the 

Big Buddha which you must walk.

But when you get to the top it is always worth the extra effort.
