'Money for Nothing' is a BBC programme with my parents

This is from my parents in the UK.

'Money for Nothing' is a BBC programme which takes items that other people have disposed of  council refuse collection sites, and which the presenter rescues from With the help of a designer they are turned into desirable items, which are then sold. Any profit made is then returned to the individuals who disposed of the item originally.

We had an old Chest of Drawers in the garage at the flat and decided we would take it to Earlswood tip for recycling. Unbeknown to us that day Jacqui Joseph, a presenter from 'Money for Nothing' was there and she appeared as we were unloading the chest. The video below shows what happened!

Paul McCartney and Royal Mail Stamps

Royal Mail has unveiled a set of 12 special stamps honouring Sir Paul McCartney.

The collection features eight album covers which have defined his career, along with photos of Sir Paul in the recording studio.

The ex-Beatle has written or co-written 188 charted records in the UK and has been awarded more than 60 gold discs.

Royal Mail said the stamps were "a fitting tribute to one of the UK's much loved and revered musical icons".

If I was still collecting stamps I would
purchase this set.

Weddings in Phuket

Memories have been flooding back recently.

I remember the weddings that I used to take care of at Cape Panwa Hotel.

Tanyapat & Anyawee (Ramkhamhaeng 76)

Tanyapat & Anyawee is a cafe just a short way from my home so I go on a regular basis. I have to have the hot cappuccino.

It is always strong and smooth.

No sugar added.

I simply sit outside and watch the outside world go by.

Chong Heng Café (Ramkhamhaeng 76) (now closed)

After having a year off because of sickness I realise that I have been to this cafe a great number of times.

The coffee is always strong and the staff are always courteous. Even when they closed the outside because of Covid-19.

They also serve food but I have never chosen any of this - next time perhaps?

Sri Nakhon Khuean Khan Park and Botanical Garden (Samut Prakan)

Sri Nakhon Khuean Khan Park and Botanical Garden in Samut Prakan reminded me of a park in England but I cannot remember the name.

We rented bicycles and cycled around the park - it was a lovely day and a lovely experience together.

There were a number of places where Buddhist offerings could be made.

And special places.

Which directed us to the coffee shop.

What a wonderful place - very peaceful.
