TripAdvisor (App)

I do not work for the hotel industry anymore and I am happily married so I don't look at this anymore. But it is certainly worth having a look for more information.

There are more TripAdvisor myths than 6...

TripAdvisor decides to dispel some myths about the company - reading the comments in the section below the article I do wonder whether they will reply to each one?

I think that they should, do you?

TripAdvisor is the road to success - is it?

We have all used TripAdvisor. Sometimes I have a good month and sometimes I have a bad month.

So what causes places to go bust when they are a popular destination in TripAdvisor Should we pay so much attention to what people think? Do we know what we are looking for. Does the location think about this? - they did.

I guess it is just the same as a site to review movies. I was watching Scorpion last night and thought that it was entertaining BUT not on the #IMDB app...

Bunfe Coffee Bar

Bunfe Coffee Bar was a small coffee shop which I liked to visit when it was a day to do my paperwork in the offices in the center of Bangkok.

Small, never busy and quiet - i would have to admit that sometimes It was so quiet I could not find the staff....

Enjoyed the coffee and watching the world walk by.

Little Zoo Cafe

We visited Little Zoo Cafe but unfortunately this post did not go out - whoops.

We took the overground metro to get there - this is the children walking over the train tracks to get there - no train came. There is another Little Zoo Cafe in Nonthaburi and this one is a second one - we have been more than once since!!

There were more animals than there were previously and there were a lot more people - in fact at 11 am (opening time) there was a queue outside already!!!

Lots of friendly animals (not always sure though)

The coffee was better than last time and my daughter's friend enjoyed her milkshake.

We had pizza at a roadside outside Pratunam market - we didn't go shopping but it was very busy!!

We came back by the canal boat - much quicker, cheaper and a lot more fun.

Harmonique

Harmonique was a wonderful find on a walking trip though Bangkok - John Bush and more.

What an amazing place to find! Walking along the back streets and then a sign and an old building

- time for a coffee then (next time food).

It clearly has a lot of history to the restaurant and unfortunately I can find nothing.

There is a tree growing in the building and the restaurant is very popular with the Chinese Tourist currently.

Definitely worth visiting to have a look at the number of historical artifacts which are scattered throughout the rooms.

Lord of Coffee (Visit 2)

This is a wonderful place to stop for a coffee and maybe a cake.

Always with stopping here and there are a number of places to find around this area - certainly worth visiting.

You are able to sit outside

OR inside in the air-conditioning.

What do you think - never knew I knew so much about Luxury Hotels?

Top 8% and TripAdvisor

Okay some people believe everything that they read on the Internet and some people don't.

I (and probably 12 million others +) have probably received this message from Tripadvisor.

Please research as much as you can about your trip before you go - there are always two opinions to something and do you know what you want?

Here are restaurants that I have visited, coffee shops I have visited and things I have done - these are only my opinions and experiences.

Wat Hua Suan

Wat Hua Suan was somewhere we visited when we took a trip to Chacoengsao

This is a stainless steel temple - fascinating but I could not find anything that I was able to understand it's significance.

Please remember to dress appropriately.

Definitely worth visiting if you are in Chacoengsao - here's a link about things to do in Chacoengsao.

Tripadvisor and how much they know

Well as a blogger with too many blogs (which I monitor whether they are read) should not have been surprised when I got an email for Tripadvisor regarding the readership of the persons who chose to read my blogs.

But I was....

TKT's Row House

TKT's Row House is somewhere that I visited because I needed to complete some paperwork nearby - now I enjoy the paperwork!

I had a lovely cappuccino and next time I will try one of the special doughnuts because if they are as good as the coffee I will be happy.
