Wat Samphran (Dragon Temple) วัดสามพราน is 40 km West of Bangkok in Nakhon Pathom.
It is 80 meters high
- representing the age of the Buddha when they died.
It has 16 floors to it - which represents the 16 material levels of Braham Loka - see more at thailandee.com.
Then what is more amazing is that there is an enormous dragon which encircles the temple - from the bottom to the top. Representing from Hell to Heaven.
Then there are no steps inside but a slope which works itself in a circle until reaching the top - an amazing place to visit.
I took a plethora of photographs so there will be another post of lots of photographs.
