So what do we do in Thailand if there has not been enough rain?
Well you put a cat in a cage and carry it around the village, suspended by 2 bamboo sticks..... (and the man in front carries an extra sick between his legs)
Then water is thrown at it - hopefully the screams of the cat will induce the rain gods to release the water.
Well it worked today - how do they ask for the rain to stop?
There are more traditions I have yet to explore - thank you to the Phuket Gazette
